Cherry Angioma Results

A Cherry Angioma is also known as a blood spot or a Campbell de Morgan spot. They often have a red or purplish appearance due to being made up of a cluster of tiny blood vessels known as capillaries. 

Cherry Angioma growths can differ in size. Many people are unaware of how easily Cherry Angiomas can in fact be treated.

This image is the result of one of our skin expert treatment of this client, just 8 weeks post treatment. 

Background
This client had a noticeable red and purple raised Cherry Angioma on the bridge of her nose. Whilst Cherry Angiomas are in no way harmful and do not need to be removed, this client wanted to have hers removed for cosmetic reasons due to its prominent place.

Treatment
The client was treated using an Advanced Cosmetic Procedure (ACP) treatment, with advanced Electrolysis used to quickly and easily cauterise the cluster of blood vessels causing the cosmetic issue. This was after just one session of advanced Electrolysis.

Aftercare
We checked in with this client after 6 weeks to check that the area needed no further treatment, but as it is healing well, there is no more treatment needed except regular skincare routine upkeep and applying SPF.
