There are many advantages to the hot waxing compared with the more usual warm waxing. In particular it is a less painful experience, which makes a huge difference for the Brazilian or Hollywood wax. There are also several advantages over warm wax including: It works well on small patches of strong coarse hair; the wax grips the hair better than warm wax; it doesn’t leave a sticky residue like warm wax; it is good for removing shorter hairs; it is possibly more suited to those with sensitive skin, and there tends to be less reddening on the skin after waxing.
