Skin Tag: Results from Michelle

Skin tags are soft, skin-coloured growths on the skin. They are very common and are usually small and harmless. They can vary in colour and size, from a few millimetres up to 5cm wide.

Skin tags are usually found on the neck, armpits, around the groin, or under the breasts. They can also grow on the eyelids or under the folds of the buttocks. Whilst they are harmless, they can catch on clothes and objects, making them uncomfortable. Electrolysis is one of the best removal methods for skin tags, making removal of them easy, quick and simple.

This is the result of one of our skin expert Michelle’s treatment of this client, with the image showing directly after treatment. This took just one ACP treatment.

Background
“An impressive skin tag under this lovely lady’s eye had been bothering her for years. Little did she know, it could easily be removed!” – Michelle

For more information about this condition then read our blog here. If you think you may have a skin tag or any other skin concern, then book in a consultation with one of our skincare experts to find out more.

Treatment
Advanced Cosmetic Procedures uses Advanced Electrolysis to remove the skin tags at skin level.

Aftercare
With help from our Michelle and Advanced Electrolysis, the skin tag was effortlessly taken care of. All that’s left of the skin tag is a small scab, which will on average take 6 weeks to heal.

Are you addicted to exfoliating? Why exfoliating can actually make your skin worse…

Exfoliation is often hailed as the key to glowing skin, especially on social media, but it’s usually too harsh for most skin types. Over time, aggressive exfoliation can lead to premature aging, dryness, and even increase the risk of skin cancer. The outer layer of skin, the stratum corneum, is incredibly thin and crucial for protection. Contrary to popular belief, the "dead" cells on your skin serve important functions. Instead of regular exfoliation, focus on nourishing your skin barrier with a regimen rich in Vitamin A and antioxidants for healthier, long-term results. Treat your skin with care and patience!
