Treatment Cancellation Policy

To keep your deposit, please cancel or reschedule more than 48 hours before your appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged in full.

Your appointments are very important to the team at Mary Jeffrey’s. Each appointment is reserved especially for you and, while we understand that changes are sometimes necessary, we kindly ask that you respect the following policy.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment in order to retain your deposit.
  • Any cancellation or reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment time will result in the loss of your deposit.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment time will be charged in full.
  • We send appointment reminders 48 hours in advance, as we understand how easy it can be to forget appointments booked weeks or months ahead.

Cancellation Charges

Because your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you, the following charges apply: Less than 24 hours’ notice: You will be charged 100% of the full cost of the booked service.

Important Notice: Cancellations and Illness

If you are unwell, especially with sickness, flu, or a virus, please do not attend your appointment. Health guidance advises waiting at least 48 hours after symptoms have stopped before attending public places. Attending the salon while unwell puts our team and other clients at risk.

Please note: Same day cancellations or no-shows, including those due to illness, will still result in a charge, as outlined in our booking policy. Appointments cancelled on the day cannot be refilled and directly affect our staff and business. We understand that illness happens. Responsibility for cancelling an appointment remains with the client. Thank you to those who respect our policies and help keep the salon safe for everyone.

No-shows:
Will be charged 100% of the full cost of the booked service.

Appointments booked within 24 hours:
If cancelled, a 50% charge will apply. If we are able to fill the cancelled appointment, charges may be waived, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Online & In-Salon Bookings

Online bookings require card details at the time of booking.
Deposits and cancellation charges are automatically deducted in line with this policy.

In-salon or telephone bookings require deposits and cancellation charges to be paid manually or may be added to a future appointment where applicable.

Client Responsibility

It is the client’s responsibility to remember appointment dates and times. Late cancellations, missed appointments, or no-shows may result in charges being applied.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact the salon as soon as possible.
